RE: Longevity

I need to be the first critique in this.

But first, a positive note.
I'm 48 years old and it's your age that brought me to reply to you.
You're respectfully old and it just makes you interesting to me

Back to my critical point of view

Here are a few things I want to share.

The contest are with ridiculously small winnings and are difficult to attend to.

In the Steemit platform, everything you search for are 2 - 3 years old posts and often the accounts have gone passive.

If I write anything, all I get are upvotes and badges. No one responds to me, and I have tried almost everything.

The thing that keeps me in here is the @actifit step counter.
I like to see my steps and show pictures of the activities I have done. And I enjoy getting rewards for it.

Here's a followup to my previous response

Earlier today I posted this.
I'm asking people to ask me anything about Finland

Only upvotes came.
See for yourself

I want to thank you for stopping by. I really appreciate the time and effort it took for you to comment on my post.

Now I'll be blunt. I've looked at some of your posts. I actually like your actifit posts, they have a picture that is germane and some text to go with it.

I clicked on you post about being a Google Local Guide. My curiosity level was pretty high but you really didn't fire that curiosity. What did it take to become a Google Local Guide? (I'm a Google Certified Author, I KNOW you had hoops to jump through and steps to take) What do you do that inspires the huge view count?

Successful posting on hive (and steem before it for me) means that I try to tell a story like I'm telling it to a close friend. I want my friend to ask questions about what he doesn't understand, and share the experience with me.

I think I will stop by and ask a question about Finland. I just don't know what it is yet :)

Thank you so much for replying so nicely and I'm enjoying your comment.

My road with Google local guides began with my first or second Android phone, it must be like 5 years ago.
The phone just kept asking me to take a picture, as I was in a local grocery store and I took it.
Then my phones just have been asking me for pictures and articles about the places I visit, so I give them to my account.

I never thought that my pictures would have this growth and I actually don't really know what to do with it.

The strange thing is that I get this much views in a small town.
I don't know how to deal with it or use it, but I want to keep giving to our community.

There could be a problem with this Google local guide issue, because I am earning crypto now with my Xyo Coin, in this same town.
And I'm going to launch a new business with the coin app.

You say that you are a Google certified author, that is simply awesome.
How did you get there?
