Walking vendors in the street

Today is Wednesday and it will be about #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay. I'm going to share you all about these walking vendors in the street. The good thing about walking vendors is they can have many customers by walking in different places. Although it's a bit tiring there's an assurance that their goods or products they will be selling have the opportunity to be sold out. Well because they will be in different places so a lot of people will be encountered.

My first image was this woman selling ice candy and bread. Since I know you already understand what is bread, let me tell you about ice candy. If you don't know about this kind of dessert, of course, I will tell you. From the word ice, it's about freezing a liquid-like for example juices. They will be making juice from different flavours. Either orange, mango, milk, chocolate and many more. After making juices they will place it in the freezer so the juice will be hardened and it will become an ice candy. The ice candy will be placed in foam materials where the coldness can be stock. By the way, it's not very clear but the woman was holding it at the left side.

The second vendor was selling named "uyap" in Bisayan dialect. "Uyap" is like a small shrimp and being preserved with salt. Unlike dried fish, "uyap" wasn't placed under the heat of the sun. I'm not really sure how they made "uyap" but from my own understanding. "Uyap" was being stored for a week before selling it. Of course, this kind of food will be salty but it's delicious. We used to mix it in vegetables or in cooking scrambled egg. But it's fine if you will cook it from the oil, just don't fry it.

This walking vendors were selling dresses. I didn't ask them what types of dress they were selling but I heard them shouting shorts, wipers and rags. The idea of these vendors was going house to house. I saw them going inside the houses and showed their products. I don't know if they know someone from that house but that's the way how they're selling it.

These walking vendors were selling sim cards and the globe network only. Globe is a type of network here in the Philippines. I've been seeing them in the streets. Approaching random people to buy their products. I don't know how much they will earn. I'm wondering if the company was given them a day salary or just a percentage of every sim cards they can sell. I didn't ask them or talk to someone about this kind of method in selling. But they're doing it of course to earn money.

A lot of people you can see doing like this because of the hardship in life. There are no job opportunities for now because of a pandemic. A lot of companies are still closed so doing strategy like this will be helpful. Even if they're just earning a small amount. The important is they can survive in everyday needs for food. Actually, I'm thinking of earning money like this because few companies are just hiring nowadays.

I hope you enjoyed my content even though I wasn't actually walking. I let the vendors passed in front where I was standing to capture the images. Thank you for reading
