I don't do poultry farming on a consistent basis it is only when I have the resources to get a bird or two that I go into it, the cost of the bird, their feeding and maintenance makes it's a huge ask for me most times but whenever I have the opportunity to bring in new birds I don't pass the opportunity.
Broilers are my area of speciality since i have done it several times and the result is good, normally get this chicks three months before whatever program I am planning to use them for the birds should be ready by then the estimated cost that will be spent grooming these birds for that period will be way lesser compared to the cost of grown up birds at any point in time so everything makes sense.
- Financial check and comparisons have to be taking to see if embarking on any agricultural journey is worth it but as long as it isn't then why bother just like in any business you don't invest just to be on the losing side.
The birds doesn't only reduce the cost but it also gives me the chance to carefully inspect what I am to eat which is hugely important to the health the large amount of chemical doses that some birds are getting just to make them fat and allow quick growth definitely backfires.
Try to cultivate most of your consumptions it makes good sense to be on the safer side with the way the global food security is moving with preservatives becoming predominant in most countries.
