The Farm Needful For Best Continuous Production.
- Been a woman on the farm it means a lot and it brings a good version of myself. I always ignore this aspect the farm activity and constant visit to the farm. When I noticed that even my kids follow my husband to the farm continuously to help him do a lot of things then I summon courage to act fast so that I can learn more than ever before and it worked. The first thing I do when I get to the farm is to watch out for any yellow leaf or brown leaf then I will bacon on my husband or take notes of the actual farm section. With the best of my knowledge when there is any coloration on leaves it means a lot just like what my husband also says. So I needed to call his attention to it very fast.
Aside this when I also get to the farm I already secure my own hoe and cutlass which I use for the manual weeding. Yes it is not easy but I took it upon myself to learn and also to uses it as an exercise.
One of those things I also do is to harvest. I am always happy when it is harvesting time because it's always show the result of what we are doing on the farm. I also encourage my husband to do more and secure a lot of Farm produce. Now I know what it takes when people around us are talking about farming. Farming is not for the weak. When you go into the farm you take part in the activity and you will surely know better.
The encouragement is always a full one when it comes to harvesting of Farm produce. This is also what always run through my mind as a female farmer what get into my brain. A lot of people see what I do on the farm and sometimes complain why a woman will follow her husband to the farm and with their children. But my husband always share a lot of story which I learnt from it. Securing the future at the early stage for the children and to reduce poverty.
The kind of pepper we have is at it hottest point now and I think it is because of the nature of the environment and the weather. The weather already changed slightly we are moving gradually to the dry season so even the pepper are extremely hot.
When I get to the farm I harvest a lot of Farm produce. I also visit the tomato section. We don't really have much at the moment because of they are still growing up. But the green vegetables are more.
On this beautiful moment on the farm also brings more about love sharing to the family. We share a lot of moment of discussion even when we are on the farm. This means that farming also increases love sharing in family. I love to be a female farmer and I also love to inspire more people to join the farming community to produce food for themselves and for the entire community.
