My Indian Almond Plant is really doing amazing. It could be called Tropical Almond and scientifically called Terminalia Catappa.

Having to grow this plant in my garden is one thing that makes me happy, because I so much like the fruits from the plant.
Before I thought that planting or cultivation of the Almond plant is generally done in tropical and subtropical regions in North and South America, but look here, I got to try planting it in my home town specifically my garden where it will have a full sun location and I get to watch over it since it's my first time growing an Indian Almond Plant.

It looks so amazing, and it's gradually growing. The soil really is somewhat well drained, though it adds nutrients to my plant seeing how healthy they look.

What motivated me to grow this plant in my garden

While growing up, I and my siblings got to eat so much of the Almond fruit. We were fond of eating the fruits from the Almond tree. It was quite nutritious, we also ate the seeds from the fruit which is edible. The fruit have three layers, which we gradually devoured each of the layers and cracked the seed which is the last layer, leaving us to enjoy it too.
Presently, i do feel most times to eat an almond fruit likewise the seeds. However the thoughts of growing one came into my mind.
Initially, I thought it wouldn't survive after planting the fruit, but I was surprised seeing the shoots. It gave me the courage and hope to own the tree in my garden.
I planted about four fruits of the Almond fruit and they are all growing.
I can't wait to have it all grown, but for now I will keep watching and have a wonderful experience while it grows.

Always keep up with me to see how my Almond Plant is doing.
Am so excited.
