It's barely freezing in the mornings now, it all changed that fast, and yesterday was the beginning of the ramp up to the thaw. As I sat writing my post at 6am the garbage truck came and picked up then about 20 minutes later the plow came down our road and cleared it nicely for us. I got the boys to school first thing and had to go in to the office to fill out a form which took a bit but meant no drop off line.
I found a p.i.p. dummy model and gave it a run with the remains of the roll. It worked exactly right as I ended up with about 18 inches of the roll left. The dummy is okay, not nearly as nice as the originals but still nifty.
I had my chiro appointment mid morning which my mid back needed the popping. I'm not in too bad condition after the skiing. I headed home and then went across the highway to the post office to mail a package off to my Dad. Realized we hadn't checked the PO box in a bit... oops.
Back home I got my clothes in the wash then dryer but I think I need to clean our dryer as it could work a bit faster. Likely need to clean the went and tube. It's super short and runs down the entire way with no upward sections but still, better to check it than not.
Mid day the clouds parted and we got a nice bit of sun as the temps were in the low 40s F. About 11:30 Art called as he was a mile away on the highway then stopped by for a couple hours and we hung out and talked about the waterfall ice that might still be formed over in the Kettle Crest. If he can go check it out we may try and get up it before it melts out. It's nearly 200 feet tall!
The center piece of the HSW panel came off the printer and this will be @stryeyz. It will get the black border around it which makes it look really cool.
Many hex inserts are needed and I keep printing more off in various colors. The one panel above needs 4 quads just to keep it together.
I got dinner ready in the evening and we watched the Sunday animes until time to soak. It's rather maddening the amount of times I click the god damned wire OUTSIDE the triple 20... WHY can't that third dart go to it's home?! YOU KNOW WHERE YOU BELONG, GO THERE!
Half hour soak but this time it was the 102F water that cooked me out and not my shitty skin.
Today more storm is inbound with "snow" but it will be well over freezing when it hits in a couple hours. I'll get the boys to school in a bit, haul stuff to the sheep and birds, keep the printer working, order the honeybee nuc, probe the dryer exhaust line, deal with dishes, have dinner ready early as R has wrestling practice this evening.
