Was a bit hungover yesterday morning after the party so it took a while to get us all going for the day. We had a bit of rain floating around in the morning but it was just sprinkles until the afternoon.
Once we finally all got out of the house I dropped @stryeyz and the boys at her car and I headed down to the brewery to pickup the half barrel of grain. I won't be getting more for a few weeks so wanted to make sure to get it for the birds and sheep.
I didn't want to take the trailer for just a half barrel so I managed to slide it into the bed of the truck where I transferred the grain to a half barrel I brought with. I prefer they have all their full size barrels for when they do brew again.
It was a quick loading and soon I was on the road for home.
The storm was moving in and there were bands of rain to the west on my drive home.
They were all uber happy for the grain and I had to throw it all around since the shit head turkeys were running from pile to pile. Hope they enjoyed it since it is the only they get for 3 weeks.
You want to know hell? Hell is having the skin lift and peel away from eczema. I really do wish I could just molt like a snake, all at once. The really hellish part is the pain that results from the peeled skin and the still raw new skin beneath. I am so tired of this and the ensuing pain, then the pain from the topicals that I have to use, and the mental fatigue from the frustration and pain.
I had wanted to see Barney's match and was home in time to catch it, the travesty for him that it was. He got spanked quite hard and lost 3-1.
I got a nice amount of time at the board during the day. I've found my throwing form and am now grouping almost all my throws within a silver dollar or smaller area.
At 1pm the front side of the storm came barreling in and the rain really started about 15 minutes later. It then continued to dump all afternoon until about 7pm.
Littler had his first match and holy shit he was SO close to TWO 9 darters! He easily won his match but then broke down after from the sheer pressure he has been under. Like John Part said, now his professional career begins with the constant pressure and expectations.
Then the next match Heta wired the 12 and was SO SO close to a 9 darter in his win.
Rain rain rain rain rain rain rain........
I was trying for the center bull but stacked them in the outer bull.
I put the Kraken game on and they had a chance early with the first goal of the game but then they bent over, stuck their heads as far up their asses as they could, and played the rest of the game like rookies. I gave up on it and turned it off with them well behind. The lost 6-2.
I had a really good late practice session. Was working the 20/10/5 doubles and after a nice first dart in the bed I just kept driving them in next to each other.
1 minute later and third throw since the above and I dropped all three in again! It's only 120 but would have been a killer leg.
About 5 minutes later and my last throw of the night I nearly hit the 3x 18 double. Doubles are not easy and something I need tons of practice on.
I got my next batch of filament delivered so I will be able to get the rest of the parts printed for R's Pokeball.
Made it out to soak but my hands were on fire and I was out after half an hour. I took a rather large dose of Benadryl before bed which helped the pain level overnight.
Lol, Utd are losing this morning, of course. PDC is on, The Seahawks will lose to the Vikings, I'll have the printer going, clean in the house, work in the greenhouse, try to keep my skin attached to my body and the pain at a minimum, and spend more time at the board.
