New Board, Stowe, Sticks, Cleaning Oraganizing, Writing, Kraken Miracle - Thursday

I know I am a broken record but there was rain in the gauge in the morning yesterday, another .15" added onto the monthly total, but we are slowly sliding down the % over normal though as the month wears on. Down to 170% and with the dry days for a bit it should bring us down even farther, unless we get another deluge.

Over the morning I got a good bit of writing done. I finished off chapter 7 and was able to get back to work on chapter 8 which I already had about 800 words written on. It is my last main pov chapter before I get to the final few chapters.

I was dreaming of a new dart board and when I went and looked at Amazon the Blade 6 dual core was on sale for $30 off. I ordered it right away and it will be here tomorrow. This is a full on competition level board that will be mounted inside the house somewhere.... Still trying to devise a place for it.

The American Stowe Buntz kicked Gilding's ass and I was quite happy to see it. First American to make it to the final 8 in the PDC grand slam. Quite the story of him and his wife what they go through so he can play darts. His performances are showing that it was worth it though.

I started the pile of branches. The past weeks weather has dumped numerous branches from the trees and the yard has been littered with them. I made a circle of the house and the nearby sheds and got the pile started. There are a ton of branches hung up in the lilacs that I have to drag down. I know some of the branches that come down are ones the eagles try to take up to their nest but drop.

I spent time in the afternoon working to cleanup under the carport which becomes a catchall for many things. We still had the butcher basins and tubs setup so I got them all stacked back where they belong which opened up a ton of space.

Bottles and cans got bagged and moved to the staging area, cardboard broken down and stacked, and a big bag of garbage hauled to the can.

I was able to keep working on my chapter in the evening but ended up having to get dinner made, then the Kraken game came on.

I was fully ready for them to lose and they sure tried hard to but in the end managed to just barely squeak out a win in ot. I was honestly surprised they managed it given the horrid record they have recently. A stat was shown that they are the top in the NHL for blown leads... I mean at least they were leading???

I managed to find the radio station for the Kraken so I had that playing on my speaker while soaking. Asshole NHL putting the games start at 7pm puts the end at after 10pm on weeknights. They are truly awful for their scheduling.

Went to flake the blanket out on the bed and it hit the light cover which exploded glass all over the bed so I had to do a bunch of cleaning to make it so I could sleep but have to get the rest of the glass picked up today.

Today is going to be foggy again, boys have school, glass to cleanup, @stryeyz comes home today so I pick her up at the airport mid day, it's Friday so I will likely grill tonight, and I need to keep on chapter 8 amongst the many other things on my lists.

I can't wait to get home, I miss you guys 😘

We ourselves have played this game a lot as a child and used to be very happy whenever there was an arrow in the middle.
