Another really early morning yesterday as I was on my way to town before 5am for grain. Nicely the traffic was mellow-ish and I was to the brewery in about 20 minutes.
Where I found 5 barrels of grain waiting. I quickly got them transferred into the trailer which ended up piled pretty high.
It helps the weight of the grain and the wet helps it all stay in place for the drive.
Stopped for gas on the way home then got caught up at the light since asshats can't make the right turn without a mile of clear road.
The sunrise was just touching the sky as I got home.
The UK PDC open is going on so I had the matches going all day.
Barney managed a couple wins but then went out in round 4.
I went out to spread the grain in the garden and got the main finished off which I then put the fence up around to keep the birds out.
The rest of the grain got dumped in the sheep pen where the birds massed into when I let them out.
I went to North 40 mid morning for belts for the tiller but ended up with the wrong size so I will go back today to trade and get the right ones. I did get a pack of Tannerite to have on hand.
The HSW panel came out quite nice in the PLA and looks good with the black border. For @stryeyz if she wants them.
Mid day I remembered that I needed to fill the softener salt and now I need to refill the basement with salt from the stash in the studio. Thankfully the weather is dry now so it won't be a problem moving the bags.
And with the salt refilled I then topped off the hot tub as it had gotten a bit low.
The boys got home from school and then got to cleaning in their rooms. I went out and broke down the cardboard that had piled up under the carport.
I had too many problems with the blue PLA so I swapped over to a fresh roll of red PLA which did okay. It fritzed later but then did okay for J's prints.
Nat' came over to watch the boys for us while we went out for a date night. About 5:30 we were headed north up the 395 to Chewelah and to Mistequa casino. We mainly were there for dinner which the prime rib was super tasty, we both had it. Well more than enough for each of us and we got a nice bit of leftovers for today.
We signed up for the Sun Club card which got us free play spins and an extra since my birthday was in February. I got $25 of free play and put in $10. After playing a few machines for a bit I ended up with about $45 cashed out. In the end we walked out up about $5 on gambling between the two of us and had a good evening out.
Rather late getting out to soak and I only made a half hour. My shoulders are still torched from the climb and I know I have a shit load of strength training to do this year before next ice season hits.
Got a bit more sleep this morning and have the PDC on as the better players are easily winning so far. We are full in spring now and nice sunny days. I will hit North 40 for the belts mid morning then get the tiller going. People are going to Steptoe today but I am looking at tomorrow as the winds look better, should really get the scooter finished so I have wheels for getting to flying.
