I woke up feeling everything all at once yesterday. The soreness in my jaw from the abscess, my throat dry, sinuses stuffed, chest rattling with gunk, coughing like crazy, and feeling like absolute garbage. The very first thing I did after getting my tea ready was to grab a handful of Vitamins A and C with some NAC and a heap of Vit D in my tea. After about 3 hours I was feeling markedly better and the bulk of the symptoms had subsided.
I got the rest of the needed dummy frames printed and the second spider parts set.
Before taking the black filament off I had to print the base for the rocket that is now done. It is the Delta II rocket by ULA that I watched launch while in Vandenburg in the Air Force. I will put it together today.
With the potential for snow inbound... FINALLY!!!!! I went up and drug out the snowblower and rolled it down to the tool shed. 3 pulls on the started and it kicked right on and sounded like it was just running yesterday. I rolled it down to the compressor and aired up the tires while it ran for a bit. I parked it in the yard under the tree ready in case I need it... but there is less than half an inch this morning so likely won't be needing it.
The PDC Masters is on and the matches were fast in a best of 3 setting. It threw some of the players off a bit but others reveled in it.
After a call with my father mid morning I went out on the deck with the .22 to test out my brass catcher I made for it. Holy shit is it perfect. It will easily hold over 100 rounds but I only have 25 round mags and have to remove it when changing clips and racking the slide. But still, NO MORE CHASING .22 BRASS ALL OVER THE YARD!!!!
Cross is on or off. He went out 1st round in Bahrain, won last week, now out first round this week.
Man Utd played and managed a win in the Euro league, the only place they can this season. 2-0 at the end and Amorin was not looking happy at their performance.
That damned third dart.... EVERY DAMNED TIME!!!! GO TO YOUR HOME!!!!
It took me a good bit of time to get the model scaled and setup right to print. These are the atmosphere boosters.
Then these are the vacuum boosters.
The spider put together, sans eyes that I need to get to fit.
Then the nose cone for the rocket.
We decided to go out to eat for dinner so off to Deer Park to Master's Brewhouse we went. I just had to, I got the Make BLT's Great Again, and it was DELICIOUS.
J and his soaking fry in his soda... Funny thing is he forgot about it for a while so pulled it out super soggy. lol.
They had the Bob Ross channel on one tv and we were watching and waiting for him to say, "happy little tree" which he NEVER SAID!!! I remember Bob from when I was a kid but I didn't remember just how much of a naturalist he was and how close to the earth he was. His pets of all kinds, birds squirrels, etc.
The live music going was great and the singer we have seen numerous times before. The boys ended up at the pool table for a bit then at the arcade games for a while.
Home in time to get the boys going to bed and us to soak.
Before I went to bed this was the gist of the weather, not exactly looking like a deluge.
And this morning there is but a dusting despite the doppler showing otherwise. More A/C/D/NAC today (THUNDERSTRUCK!) and will get the boys to school soon since just got the text they are on normal schedule. The rocket parts are done this morning so I will get it put together today, PDC is on mid day, The printer is going to be going soon, and we likely won't get much weather today.
