This isn't winter. Yesterday morning is rained AGAIN. And it kept raining the entire day long. It's rather annoying having the temps hovering at freezing as it makes for the sloppy awfulness that we have now. I'd really rather a nice layer of snow that would last more than 12 hours.
The boys were asleep till late and I had the printer going first thing. I had found this nifty "digital sundial" and got it printed out. I didn't read the instructions first so printed at .2mm instead of .1mm which would have smoothed some of the thin bridging. It works, I just have to put it all together today. Pretty nifty as it can tell the time from 10am-4pm at 20 minute intervals with zero electricity required.

@stryeyz asked if I could make a smaller post-it note checklist template which I went in a tried to scale properly. I ended up printing 6 before the last 2 came out okay. Still didn't get the dimensions exactly right but it works well enough now.

But no, the snow was gone by 4pm.
I put on Up In Smoke for the evening. Such a classic that is as old as I am.
Well, would you look at that, it decided to snow!!! The world must have glitched for a bit for it to finally fall and it looked like it might keep going for a while.
We got about an inch in all from it in the whole hour and a half it actually fell.
It largely was done by the time I got out of soaking.
We are all concerned about the cat and his amount of time left. He's 14 years old and very scrawny and thin now. He's not eating much and last night looked like shit laying on the bed. He was on the back of the couch this morning looking at me as I walked from the bedroom. Who knows how long he has but he has had a damned good life.
The snow is still there this morning but will be melting fast today. I'll get the printer going again soon, have a pinch in my shoulder I need to work out, force the boys to clean in their rooms, and we are going to butcher the tom turkey today but just skin his fat ass so I don't need the scalding water. We'll have turkey for dinner for sure.

Same here. We do just to get a healthy heat that is more cozy, the central heat dose the rest.
