In the west deer pretty much fly over all fences we have unless it's that high. Not many people can afford it.
And just wait until you have the Apple trees! Drunk deer happens when the apples rot. You will see the deer wait for them to rot. Drunk deer are totally unpredictable. Unless fully passed out. Then you can walk up to one. With a dog... As the deer snores... Lol
