I used water glass a few times to store eggs between times when the chickens weren’t laying well. The longest I kept them was 8 months. If done properly, they keep very well.

I know a lot of people can do this if they have freshly laid eggs. I can't have chickens where I am so I am trying alternative ways to keep them longer.
It really doesn't work if the eggs have been washed, so if store is your source, dehydrating is best.
