Our participation in the LeoThreads Community Author of the Week contest continues!

This contest seems to have really lit a fire in the Homesteading Community; quality and quantity of posts have both been on the rise the last couple of weeks! While this makes things a bit more difficult for me to read each post and choose 4 of the best, this difficulty is what I like to call a beautiful problem.

Speaking of beautiful problems, a few of you may have noticed that it's been a while since since I've published a Homesteading Community Highlights. Though this new weekly contest has been a bit of a distraction, I assure you the Highlights will continue soon, with a slight change of format.

As always, we give thanks and encourage you to visit the LeoFinance community. This contest is their vision, and a brilliant promotional tool for LeoThreads. There were over 500 votes cast among the participating community polls last weekend, and you can see all the results in the week 4 winner's announcement.

Speaking of the winner's announcement, without any further ado...

... The Homesteading Community Author of the Week is...

@mrprofessor squeaks out the win in our closest contest yet! Check out the winning post to congratulate him, perhaps leave a vote, a comment, and/or or a tip!

This Week's Contestants:

We'll start this week's lineup with a returning contestant: @agbogo shares another post showing the beautiful results of monumental effort in this blog about preparing land and planting yams.

Next up is another monumental effort and another returning contestant: @flemingfarm gives another another great look at a life of daily property improvements and land preparation.

For contestant #3 this week we have a newcomer to the contest: @generikat shares with us another entertaining day on the homestead that includes couches, raking, and burning!

This weeks final contestant is another newcomer: @jaydr published a great post about getting started with poultry farming using his earnings from Hive!

Be sure to stop by our LeoThreads poll to vote for your favorite! Voting will remain open until Sunday at 11:59PM(PST).

GOOD LUCK CONTESTANTS!

What a surprise when I saw the win. I totally didn't know about the contest 😐 thanks a bunch

Thank you very much for the mention and selection.

Do you know if you had used the #contests tag (instead of the #contest tag) your post would have been featured in https://www.hivelist.org, giving you extra eyeballs and the opportunity to earn LIST tokens as well?

May this tip be of guide to the participants of all future contests in Hive.

Thank you for that!

Thanks for this great updates. I'll definitely go to the threads and cast my votes.
