Welcome back, contest participants!
Our #yardfishing contest has come to a close, and I have mixed feelings about it. The contest announcement got a fair amount of views and reblogs, and we did seem to pull in a few extra subscribers to the community, so in that sense, it was quite a success. Participation was low, however, with barely enough entries to award all the prizes, so in that sense, I feel like it failed. The entries that were submitted were all fantastic, so in that sense, it was also successful.
I know the poor participation was my fault, for not giving people a bit more time to prepare a post about something they haven't likely taken a lot of photos of... weeds. I think I will run this contest again in December, with a little more forewarning and promotion.
Enough of my babbling... let's get to the topic at hand!

Since all but one entry will receive an award, I'll delegate some HP to the odd post for a while, as a participation award. I should have everything judged, written about, and posted by the end of the week, and I'll distribute the awards right after I post the results.
