Those Lems look nice. I have been thinking about buying a new pair of basic shoes, and they make some that are on my short list due to their more anatomical shapes.

Sort:

So I have gone through almost all the zero drop wide toe box brands and this is the first one that is able to handle the abject abuse I treat all my shoes with. The Lems Primal Zen Suede are doing incredible for my farm shoes and are looking to get twice the time out them as the other brands. The new Zens I got are more breathable and I plan to use for stuff off the farm.

So far, I'm still happy with my Jim Green leather boots and shoes, but they're less suited to some activities. I wouldn't want to use them for running or rock climbing even though they're good for hiking.

These Lems soles are not exactly the best traction wise. They have the Primal Pursuit which has the better traction for the shoes but sizes are limited. If you were to use the shoes for mainly running and climbing Altra have the Lone Peak which is really good for trail running and I've climbed 5.4 in them, at least the LP 4s. They just released the LP 9.
