From the day I bought this place, I've wanted to make this garage a usable space. It was empty (almost) when I got it
One of the first things I did was to remove the metal over that center section, making an access from the backyard.
Prior to that if I were outside and wanted to go in there, I had to walk around the fence and come in the front door.
I took this of the inside several days ago
As you can see, I had removed the metal from that left side (this is standing in the front door)

I used old plywood recovered from the stage in the studio to cover that side, but I couldn't do that by myself.
Then I bought some pink insulation; almost pointless but I wanted to do it now while I had the walls accessible
Age and weather (the other guy is 75, five older than me and will work rings around me) made this sporadic, but as of yesterday the right side had vinyl siding over the pink.
This was used, I don't know where it came from but it all was stuffed up in the rafters of the garage, and was badly stained.
I used my pressure washer and some degreaser just before dark yesterday to make it look a little better
I'm not sure yet what sort of door I want covering the opening, probably a sliding door with barn door rails, but that as Scarlet said in "Gone With The Wind"... After all, Tomorrow is another day
This will be my workshop, if I live long enough to complete it.

Good stuff!👏
I love the workshop environment and I wish I could do carpentry. It's a course or an apprenticeship that I'd like to do:)))
