RE: Dehydrating Eggs for Long Term Storage - by Sunscape

Never seen this done previously, interesting to learn something completely new.

All our food has rocketed over the last couple of years, the only way we are able to combat to a certain degree is to buy directly from small farmers inland of where we live.

I have to agree with you Joan, if you can find local farmers willing to share their eggs, milk, and produce it is so much better. I do not know any close to me so I have to rely on the local supermarket.

Rural folk normally have some chickens, goats, on farms a mile inland producing vegetables on small scale farm land. Cattle are grazed through our village when the herdsman need to move to find fresh places to feed them.

Growing up we had chickens, vegetables and fruit in the garden, not so lucky here on the coast where little grows in poor soil.

Have not noticed any shortages, price over all food ranges have gone up.
