My rice is moving towards the point where it will start producing and it is very Paramount that I apply fertilizer to it but before that I have already apply herbicides to it just to make sure that the farm has only the rice and no traces of grass to it so that the growth will only be on the side of the rice and not the grass.
There are some type of grass that do not grow tall to level of the rice that you can see it but they are underneath it and these types of grass do cause the most damage to the rice than the tall grass.
This herbicides do the job of clearing this grass irrespective of the type of grass it is , there is one thing you need to know as a farmer about this herbicides. Though these herbicides are made for different crops according to the quantity of their chemical composition farmers also have to be extra careful applying them, which means that there are some precautions i as farmer need to take on that front.
"First is to make sure that there is water on the ground before applying it ,the water will be essential for it's recovery after the chemical has been sprayed because some of this chemicals do affect the rice and you might see changes like the plant turning yellow which is not a good color for green plants like rice .
"The quantity of herbicide has to be measured and precise to prevent over activity of these chemicals mixing it has to be done according to the prescribed amount on each bottle but if there is any problem after this then you might consider complaining to the herbicide manufacturer or trying other products.
After this you can now apply your fertilizer that can either be liquid or solid fertilizer . If it is solid fertilizer you have to make sure that all the water channels on the farm are blocked to prevent the fertilizer from flowing out of the farm but if you are using liquid then there is no need for that all the fertilizer needs to do is to touch the leaves and you are good to go .
The most important thing I'd for farmers to carefully follow the instructions on the products you are using to be on a safer side ,am saying this from experience during one farming year with my dad and it was really terrible cause the whole crop got burnt up and when I look back at that incident all I see is lessons upon lessons every day and that is how we grow as farmers.

That particular fertilizer is what I usually apply to my rice farm. It usually make rice seed much. Seeding time is the best time to apply fertilizer.
