How rice seeds are directly planted on the farm( using different techniques for different situations).

HELLO HIVE

While the planting of rice is currently ongoing on my farm I want to explain how it is done in the best possible way from the experience I have from years of cultivating it, on average an individual possibly takes rice or Some of it once a day and the rate of consumption means that the supply in so many countries is never enough to let's take a look at it for entrepreneurs who would take this path to wealth.

Direct planting of rice requires a farm that's cleared and ready to take in the plant Now clearing, in this case, takes two formats one you can completely clear the farm in such a way that there will be no grass left which is how it ought to be or you plant the seeds into the farm and then spray it with herbicide almost immediately but either way you have to observe certain factors now when the farm is properly cleared before planting the seeds what we have is a farm that is completely exposed and the result is pests like birds and rodents following each planting hole to dig up the seeds but when planting is done before that the case is different.

  • Now planting before spraying can be done if there are no shrubs on the farm except grasses that are not so tall but if there are shrubs or very tall grasses then that will not work.

Spacing is also very important because rice seedlings need space the plant might not need that much at first but as it gradually begins to grow the plant expands and becomes broad then it will need more space, the more space it gets to expand the more stems it produces and the more the seeds it equally produces.

How much space and how many seeds does it need?

About 30 x 30cm should be enough for the plant to do whatever it wants and 5 - 6 seeds per hole and shouldn't be drilled too deep just about 3 - 5cm deep.

Planting can be done with a small hoe or using a stick is also an option. I hope this helps the prospective rice farmers.
