Hello everyone, #homesteading friends wherever you are.
It feels great, today I can come back with you to give my contribution to #homesteading with those of you who are still loyal to #homesteading.
Today I will invite you to see some cayenne pepper that I cultivate beside my grandmother's house using the "Cut Shoots" method.
What kind of "Cut Shoot" method do I mean, what are its uses, I will review for all of you as best I can, according to the experience and knowledge I have gained.
In the world of agriculture, there are various ways to increase yields and crop production for farmers, starting from tillage, selection of superior seeds, and balanced fertilization, even to procedures for controlling pests and diseases. Introduced a new way to increase crop yields namely "shoot cutting method".
how to do the "Cutting the shoots method" is very easy, choose a healthy chili stem that has 7 to 10 leaves, then cut the tops using a knife or scissors, that's all...quite easy isn't it?????
Cutting shoots done on chili plants has several benefits including....
- Faster growth
- more branches
- bear fruit faster and thicker
- the roots are getting stronger
- the stem is getting stronger, not easy to fall over.
Even so, this shoot cutting technique also has weaknesses, including:
- when it bears fruit rather slowly and not simultaneously.
You don't need to worry if you want to do this method on your chili plants, just stay alert and be careful in choosing the chili stems to cut the tops of, avoid cutting the chili shoots that are still too small.
You have to try it at home, because the method is very easy, the results are abundant.
That's all I can review for all of you, I hope my review is useful for all of you #homesteading lovers.
The pepper look very healthy.
Thank you very much
