Withering Jute mallow, preventing Such through peoper Planting methods

Hello Hive

Happy Sunday to my beloved community and all the beautiful souls here. It has been an amazing farming/gardening journey all through this year, and I am grateful to God for the journey so far. I think at this point it will be good to make a recap of the farming journey and the summary of everything, which may not be a summary since that will come like a bulky writeup of what we did so far.

I'm not too healthy today, as I broke down yesterday due to severe stress from attending to my brother at home, multiple tasks, and others. Surprisingly, my doctor sensed the unwellness signal and came in handy to give me some quick aid. I got some injections that knocked me out through the night with dizziness and nausea that made me close my eyes even when my body was sleepless and restless.

I just feel better now and have just opened my eyes to check in and see what's happening around the crypto space. It's surprising to see that the altcoins are pumping and Hive is leading the way as well.

Back to the garden, my neighbor, whom I have been guiding regarding growing a garden of her own, has come to complain bitterly about her jute mallow withering.

It didn't come as a shock to me, as I had earlier told her about how she had not planted these things well enough.

While scattering my seeds, I was mindful of overcrowding in the vegetable bed. Sometimes we feel like we want to have as many veggies as we can, then we go ahead and pour loads of seeds across a small section of the bed, not knowing that it is improper and will affect the growth of the veggies.

The jute mallow was only growing tall in height but not expanding in size. This is due to severe overcrowding; there is no space for expansion; hence they continue to grow tall instead.

Having checked on it for her yesterday evening, we noticed that they are beginning to wither away. I advised her to harvest these and exhaust them before we get better seeds for proper planting next time.
There is a calculated amount of seeds we must plant per vegetable bed space, and making the mistake of overcrowding will not make our veggies grow well.

I read your post, and it feels like talking to a close friend who really knows about plants—about withering jute mallow, turns out proper planting methods are so important, right? The way you explain it is simple yet impactful, making it easy to understand even for someone like me who isn’t that familiar.
