Another day, on the farm.

I will say that farming is more than just what I think it is. I once talked about my journey as a farmer. It all started when food stuff was so expensive. I could remember how bad it was when I used to go and buy market. Unlike before, if you buy just one dollar of pepper, you will use it and still have enough for another day. And ever since, the inflation in my country has hit us in a different way. I just have to find another means to survive.

Honestly speaking, I never thought of selling my farm products; this is because I planted everything because I needed to eat more of them. Although there is absolutely nothing bad in selling them, as I can't be the only one to eat everything on the farm.
When I realized how everything was going on. I need to meet up with one of my brothers and explain my pain to him. He then gave me a plot of land to farm.

I had to call my brother, Vic. I know he's someone who loves to farm too. He comes over, and then we partner together and have a farm. After cultivating and doing what is necessary on the farm. We first of all plant the corn. That has been one of the major things I like. I love corn a lot. But it's too expensive for me here. I can't even afford it because I'm someone who loves to eat lots of fresh corn.
Corn wasn't the only thing we planted. We planted coco yam. I love this too. I remembered eating lots of it as a child. Pepper, this is very expensive in the market too. And not just pepper; we also have a tomato farm. After that, sweet potatoes, vegetables, and so on were part of the things we planted on the farm.

I used to check out the farm every weekend. But as time went on, I realized that my corn doesn't grow. I once wrote a post about it and talked about the insect that ate the corn I planted some weeks ago. I tried to spray it again and plant all the corn. But it's like the more I'm trying, the more they keep eating it all. Not too long ago, I changed the corn I was planting and bought another corn in the market. Then I realized it—this particular one grows. But here is the problem. For the past three weeks now, rain has refused to fall. And I wasn't even around to go to the farm and check what was going on.

I was able to go to the farm yesterday, and I realized that most of the corn refused to grow and some grew even though they didn't grow to my satisfaction. I realized the rain that doesn't fall has a long way to go to affect this. Getting to the farm yesterday, everything looks scanty. Since it's been a while, I went to the farm. The vegetables are overgrown, and I need to plug some vegetables home. Well, we have different types of vegetables on the farm.

Patience is the Key to farming , even rhough they did not grow to your satisfaction now, they will still grow plentifully soon

Waoh, which side of Nigeria that rain has refused to fall? Because rain is falling too much in the south eastern part of Nigeria, Even as I'm talking to you right now, rain is still falling since 8 o clock in this morning today. We can't even go out without umbrellas and rain coats. So how come it doesn't in your area?

You are doing well, keep have patience and I commend your thoughtfulness to have a farm to caution the hash effect of high prizes of everything in the market.
