Agreed, I've spent the last 4 years turning my urbanscape into a permaculture paradise. Everything I've planted and built returns indefinitely and needs little to no care on my part. I've also spent a lot of time and continue to to learn about as many medicinal and edible wild foods as well.
Then I've started to can, dehydrate and freeze EVERYTHING. Waste is not in my vocab. I've also invested quite a bit in dehydrated and freeze dried emergency food kits along with multiple ways to filter water.
As I've shown you in the past, I've also taken care of my ability to travel long distances with renewable power and fuel, so I've become nearly fully separated from the system. Minimalist living is also where I'm at and I consider myself a professional scavenger. It's how I fund myself. Well, that and by building a huge arsenal of skills used to barter for my most costly needs.
You however have minimalized a bit further than myself, which I respect. Of course, at the drop of a hat I can live comfortably just like yourself. Keep up speaking the truth my friend. Even though I've nearly attained my goal and have learned so much, I've learned quite a few new things from you, which is why I gave you a follow.
Just don't forget that when SHTF, skills will be among the most valuable things one can possess. You can't grow your own food while being a nomad, so edible/medicinal plant identification and preparation will be gold. Pushing that as well will benefit so many. "Teach a man to fish/forage."
Are there any posts I've missed since only recently following you which show the permaculture paradise?
I haven't posted at all for at least a month before you followed me and almost two years before those. Though, if you scroll back I detail the building of my hugelkultur mounds(I've added more since), published a very comprehensive canning tutorial and have detailed the uses of a few plants I've harvested and taken photos of myself.
I may or may not post in the near future. I'm not very motivated, not good in front of a camera and find typing a blog to be a bit tedious. That being said, I do plan to resume creating content again...😁
Almost everyone who told me they weren't good in front of a camara were actually quite good in front of a camera.
Well, I've attempted a few times over the last 3 years to produce video tutorials, rather than written and it wasn't happening. I'm more cerebral than vocal. So, I'm not just saying it because I think it. I'm making a factual statement from experience...😁
yeah, but what is the fastest and safest food to grow?
Using Aquaponics or how to grow your chocolate ingredients ???
