After four weeks of working on the renovation of the tiny house, the workers helping me are taking a couple of weeks off. I plan to travel home next week for my regular allergy shot and have some meetings, this time I will drive to Spain to catch a regional train to Madrid and then I will switch to the fast-speed one to Barcelona.
The farm has mainly olive trees, around 120 of them and I hope I can get enough for our yearly olive oil consumption as well as some to give away to family and friends. But yesterday evening I decided to take pictures of the rest of the produce I am getting from the farm.
There are two lemon trees, one of them is quite big and provides me some shade as I have the outdoor kitchen next to it. Most of the yellow lemons have fallen and now it is full of small green ones which should be ready in three months
There are six orange trees three of them are quite big and the other are younger and small, they are different varieties, one of them is a tangerine and has a small amount of smaller fruits. It is the one I decided to experiment with and try to get new trees from the seeds. So far only 2 out of 6 seeds survived and I hope I can manage to plant them in the ground in a few weeks before the winter. I water the orange and lemon trees every day using the water from the well. I have finally gotten the network water in the farm but still using the well to water the trees.
There are also five fig trees, the biggest one is quite far from the place where I spend most of my time so I have decided to just forget about that one this year, I can hear the birds every morning having a fig festival :)
The one providing shade to the outdoor dining area is also quite big and most of the figs are already dark and mature. I keep grabbing some every day to enjoy their sweet flavor. Another tree next to the tiny house produces a different variety, they turn yellow instead of dark and are sweeter.
I took some time to pick up a few this morning to share with friends. You can see the top ones green and yellow from this variety I was mentioning.

Two pear trees
A kaki tree full of fruit which should be ready to try at the end of September
And a pomegranate which needs some love as it has only produced one fruit
There is also a prune tree, it had only a few prunes and they have been all eaten by the birds. Finally, there are several varieties of vines. Sweet dark, yellow, and green. I will try to find out which varieties they are. Most of them are on the walls around the farm but there are also some scattered in the ground. I eat some of it most of the days.
Besides the two tangerine trees I am trying to grow, my idea is to plant a couple of almond trees and maybe a cherry one but that will have to be in the winter.
