Been getting cold here too but maybe just a degree or two into freezing so far.

Cold enough I started running my water pumps on the wood furnace, not heating yet but keeping the water moving so it does not freeze.

What are those two evergreen pine like trees in front of your house?

That's my client's house but the one by the house is a weeping Alaska Cedar and the one closer is a I think a Mugo Pine. It's been 15 years since I planted them for him.

Oh okay.. Cool. They look really unique.

Landscaping ornamental trees tend to have a lot more unique look than the wild versions. The Mugo was trained initially to grow low like that and both have more than enough water so they have grown really well.
