It is said that there is land far away, where nature is still untouched, where the rivers contain gold, the soil is so fertile that every seed planted, is growing, and houses were built deep in the woods.
We didn´t know about these sayings before the destiny brought us here. Now we live in the Kingdoms of Nature, full of wonders and mystery for those open to her promises...
I would like to introduce 'The Promised Land' to the Community, a homestead in the forests of Bulgaria.
After some years travelling, learning and experiencing other people's projects, questioning the sense of life, thriving in the unknown we finally arrived home to Mother Nature.
Just at its beginnings, in the Promised Land, we hold the vision of a simple life in harmony and respect with nature.
Moving towards self-sufficiency using permaculture methods, we are slowly creating and implementing what we have learned all these years from organic agriculture, natural building to self healing and different spiritual practices.
For this year our main projects were prepare the house, construction of a woodshed and cut a lot of wood for the winter.
Harvesting rain water
Construction of the chicken house
We try to reuse materials that Nature gift us as much as we can.
Soon we will start the planning and design of the garden and construction of various green houses to be ready when the spring comes.
Pictures are made by The Promised Land unless mentioned.
Soon coming more.... of The Promised Land.🌳🌻☀️🌈

Re-posting the same article to different communities is considered 'spamming' on Hive. There is a feature called cross-posting, for putting an article in more than one community. We are happy to allow cross-posts in the Homesteading Community, but not every community is amenable to this.
We are happy to have this article in the Homesteading Community, but I'm afraid if I vote this article here, you're likely to see a bunch of downvotes shortly afterward. Too much re-posting of the same article will get you flagged for spamming, and sometimes plagiarism. Getting marked as either of these things will make it very hard to grow your account here.
I hope this helps you a bit in the future. If you have any questions about the community, or Hive in general, feel free to ask. If I don't have the answer, I can find you someone who will.
Welcome to Hive! I look forward to seeing more from your forest homestead in the future!
Thank you for the information!
I did not know😬
Happy to help out, it's part of the job!
