Hi Everyone
It's with great pleasure that I'm welcoming everyone to my blog and I hope you're all doing well and having a great day.
It's feel great to be here again on this amazing platform to share with you all about my new gardening update.
Gardening is not something you can easily manage around this time in my area due to the current ongoing dry season and most especially if you're not in riverbank or have enough water in your compound which I believe that I fall in to that category.
But due to the scarcity of veggies and most especially jute mallow which is one of the most consumed veggie in my area. Jute mallow is very common among Yoruba tribe in Nigeria and it's best go with swallow foods and which is one of the reason why it's became most demanded veggies.
I decided to grow my own jute mallow in my yard to save cost and most importantly to consume a fresh and firsthand veggie.
I knew it won't be easy going in to gardening around this time in my area due to low water supply, hot weather and a very scorching sun, but still yet I managed to took a step believing that it will pay off in the end if I do the needful.
Below are the steps I took while making my jute mallow garden.
The first thing I did was to make the bedding which I did by spreading the soil to like a bed.
The soil is already dry so the next I did was watering the nursery bed by splashing water all over it.
Since the soil is very dry, I make sure to watered the nursery bed the second before I finally sow the jute mallow seeds.
After I have sowed the jute mallow seeds, then watering the area two daily especially morning and evening to aid good sprouting.
I believe that in the next few days, the seeds should be sprouting already and I will make sure to keep you all updated.
Thanks for visiting my blog and have a wonderful day
I really appreciate your support
