The Liars tell to manipulate others to believe that they are saying the truth; they lie to cover up. They lie to cheat and to take advantage that is not their own,they lie to defend their wrong doings or sayings. They lie to live! Lying has become their habit.
That was the situation of Gehazi,the servant of the holy man of God , Elisha. His master was serving God, but he was using God to make gain. He was so used to it to the extent that it became his lifestyle and language style. But one day, he he told his last lie:after which the door of repentance was shut against him. He would have VOWES not to tell lies again but he was not given the chance.
THE CASE
His master said "whence comedy thou, Gehazi?" and he lied saying, "thy servant went not whither"
He did not know that there was a holy eye and monitoring him a and dubious dealings. Then, the judgment for lying came: The leprosy came upon him and to his seed for ever. Sin has pay day!
How many lies have you told today? And yet, nothing happened physically to you. If you don't stop, you will not know that last one you will tell that will bring unpardonable judgment upon you and your future.
STOP IT NOW! REPENT OF YOUR PAST ONES
Turn to the Lord. Ask for the spirit of the truth to enter into you and it shall make you free (John 8:32 )And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
Don't play or plan with lying! The next may be the last one that will close the door of repentance against you!
