Sarah conoció a Tazz en el instituto en medio de una tormenta, su vida estaba hecha una desdicha y el fantasma de su hermana Leyla parecía atormentarla. En cada sitio que visitaba parecía mirar a Leyla feliz y sonriendo por lo que su idílica vida significaba, era una chica afortunada, talento, fortuna y admiración la situaban en un pedestal donde la llamada “belleza silvestre” siempre brillaba.
Leyla nunca necesitó esforzarse para nada, a los ojos de todos era una suertuda de tiempo completo, así que era difícil no comparar su vida con la propia, pero siempre habrá una brecha entre los anhelos del corazón, la admiración y la envidia malsana, y Sarah lo entendía muy bien, por lo que se esforzaba por encontrar culpables para esa muerte, una chica envenenada no era más que producto de oscuros pensamientos.

Tazz parecía entender y apoyar esa motivación de Sarah, cuando era niño le fue arrancado un familiar muy preciado y desde entonces creció con su propia versión del duelo, sin embargo, cuando miró a Sarah comprendió que algunas historias de amor no se equivocaban y que verla sonreír sería su objetivo.

Sarah y Tazz se encontraron en el parque, él estaba impresionado por el inmenso abrigo blanco, sin embargo, no hizo comentarios al respecto, ella parecía perdida en sus pensamientos, pero imaginó que estaba nerviosa, era una persona de carácter bastante tímido.
Cuando llegaron al hogar de Tazz, Sarah se quitó el abrigo revelando un hermoso vestido azul y Tazz se sintió como el hombre más afortunado, luego de la cena un beso desencadenó un momento de pasión, Tazz se sentía embriagado por el momento y aunque sus sentidos parecían fallar pensó que solo era el momento de pasión.

Al mirar su expresión parecía una desconocida, tropezó con su bolso y de allí una foto caía al suelo, al mirarla era Leyla con su vestido azul mientras Sarah estaba en una esquina observando.
Él, mareado, intentó ponerse de pie, pero era imposible, y Sarah comenzó a reírse como si de un mal chiste se tratara.

Luego, de perder el conocimiento, despertó en el bosque donde Sarah comenzó a reclamarle por no amar a Leyla, él no comprendía nada y Sarah le explicó lo que sucedía:

Tazz no comprendía y ella continuó:
- Solo quería ser amada como Sarah lo era, yo tenía toda la atención y ella solo la de unos cuantos, pero parecía feliz, por más que trataba de hacerla enojar, era paciente y peor aún, mientras yo me esforzaba en una competencia sin adversario, ella parecía feliz en la sombra, y como no puedes amarme es hora que te reúnas con ella.
Ese día Tazz murió envenenado y atado a un árbol, con las investigaciones la policía supo que Leyla había suplantado a Sarah luego de que ella misma la envenenara, en un diario contaba cómo sentía un odio visceral a su hermana, pues ella, a pesar de resaltar en todos los sentidos dentro de su pueblo, tenía toda la atención, pero sentía que no tenía nada.
Lo que recuerda que la percepción del éxito es subjetiva, pero el odio que se siente es injustificable.

- I just wanted to be loved as Sarah was, I had all the attention and she had only a few, but she seemed happy, as much as I tried to make her angry, she was patient and worse, while I struggled in a competition with no adversary, she seemed happy in the shade, and since you can't love me it's time for you to join her.
That day Tazz died poisoned and tied to a tree, with investigations the police learned that Leyla had supplanted Sarah after Sarah poisoned her, in a diary she recounted how she felt a visceral hatred for her sister, for she, despite excelling in every way within her village, had all the attention, but felt she had nothing.
Which is a reminder that the perception of success is subjective, but the hatred felt is unjustifiable.
