This is my first post in this community and I like this community very much because it makes us aware about health related things which is a very useful thing. I want to grow well in this community.

First of all, I will give you a small introduction about the health system of our country and tell you how it works. The condition of the government hospitals here is not very good. The good experienced doctors do not like posting in government hospitals. In the remote areas, the condition is such that there is no nursing home even for first aid. If there is an emergency, then it becomes very difficult because in the remote hilly areas, even the ambulance cannot reach because there is no road there.
On the other hand, if we talk about big cities, there are many private hospitals available here. The income of these private hospitals is also quite good because the government hospitals do not have proper facilities.
There are many government hospitals which do not even have machines for basic tests, so people are forced to go to private hospitals.
Rich People's will get himself treated in a private hospital but where will a poor man get himself treated? Who will think about the poor people?

The situation is so bad that the private hospitals do not treat patients as patients but as ATM cards. Getting any test done without any reason, using those facilities which the patient does not need without any reason so that their bill can increase. A patient who needs to be admitted for one day is admitted for 3-4 days so that the bill comes out to be higher. This has become a business and there is looting going on. Even the government does nothing in this.

The government says that we have provided free health insurance and free treatment services to the poor in the hospital but how many services are available in those government hospitals. The services available there are very basic but in case of a serious illness then the person has to take the help of a private hospital because if one has to save life then one will have to take treatment even by taking a loan.

There are so many people who die without treatment because they cannot get treatment in expensive hospitals and that treatment is not available in government hospitals. Many people who live in remote areas have to come to the city for treatment, imagine how much trouble they have to face in this. It is very difficult for the poor. Sometimes I myself am surprised to think how bad this health system is.
Everyone has a right to good health and no one should be left wanting from good healthcare.

The number of good government hospitals where good services are available is very less and there is such a huge crowd of patients that I cannot even describe it. If there was one doctor for hundreds of patients, then you can imagine how it would be managed. A doctor is also a human being and how many patients will he be able to see and what will happen to the patients whom he could not see.
The improvements and innovations that are needed

First of all, I feel that all the arrangements in the government hospitals in small cities need to be improved. There should be one government hospital in every city where all medical facilities should be available. Along with this, it should also be ensured that the number of doctors in these hospitals is sufficient so that patients do not have to wait for long and doctors should be available 24 hours a day for the most serious emergencies.

There should be a primary health center in the remote areas where if someone faces any problem then he should get basic first aid from the center and after that he will be referred to a higher center and for this, there should be a high-tech ambulance arrangement there.

The government talks about free health insurance and it should also ensure that the health insurance will work in every hospital in the country, whether it is a primary or government hospital. The government provides free insurance but the private hospitals reject it, so private hospitals should have special instructions that the health insurance made by them should not be rejected and the entire claim should be made through insurance so that if a poor person has to get treatment in a private hospital, he can get treatment without worrying about money.

In the end, the biggest change that should be made is that all the students who are going to give medical entrance exam should be made to sign a closed agreement that if they get selected in any government medical institute, then they will have to serve at least 10 years in any government hospital of this country, otherwise those who are not accepted here can study medicine from private institutes where the fees are in crores. It becomes the responsibility of a student that the country which is providing them medical education at a very low cost, they must give their services to this country. I am saying this because nowadays it has become very common that some students study medicine from government institutes and after that they either work in some big private institute or go to some other country and give their services there, which according to me is not right.

An officer from the government should be posted in every private hospital so that there is some control on the looting that goes on in private hospitals. Along with this, the government should also ensure that there is some control on the private hospitals which do as they please regarding treatment and the prices of the facilities should be fixed so that no private hospital can charge more money from anyone.
