Healthy Foods are Also for the Little Guys

Greetings hivees. Its another round of weekly prompt from Healthy bees and here i am again sharing thoughts and experience for being healthy. lol. yeah! No kidding! i really want to move out from unhealthy habits and learn some good things related to keep our body healthy and achieved a longer life possible. Especially if you have little guys that still needed your guidance and help. You must set a good example to them as much as possible so to avoid copying bad behaviors, habits and alike.

Let's focus on how you feed your little one on their younger years. If you are a parent and observed how your kid grew up, it will be easy to understand what I am trying to point out what i am trying to say here. From their milk days and started to try mashed potatoes and veggies and instant cereal on their 3 - 4 months old time, then later you introduce different type of fruits, meat and rice later. You can observe that what you feed your children is mostly nutritious food in this age of their lives. Growing old, or turning into toddler comes the challenge. They will be exposed to salty, sweet and junk foods that will begin to lessen their interest with the nutritious food. Because most of junk foods exist now adays provide a good taste and the enjoyment while eating these, our children will eventually suffer from lack of nutrients coming from healthy foods. Specially when the toddler age of the child, it will keep insisting what they want and sometimes us parents will give in because we pity them. Yeah, we sometimes thinks that they are young and let them enjoy their life with foods what they want but apparently, we needed to put limit to these. We know, we adults, Junk foods cannot give the amount of nutrients that our child needed if they keep eating this salty and sweety snacks. We must educate them on how they should limit eating this type of foods. We also need to be firm if we are telling them to stop those bad habits.

Most of us, adults, are aware how bad will affect the body if we eat those unhealthy foods in due time. Like if you are a soda lover, you might experience symptoms of having an UTI. A fried food lover, cholesterol will keep stacking to your body and might give you a problem to your hearth later on. So this things can be an example so to not let your child will suffer such consequences.
Insisting the healthy eating habit to our child will really become a challenge during their younger years and of course they are young so they are always looking for new things and explore them even foods are not exempted to this attitude of them. So how do we gonna let them be aware of what they are eating? A proper guidance is necessary. You should monitor they're activities and prepare they're food personally as much as possible. Giving them money and let them buy what they want is a bit extreme, you should know that are going to buy if ever you want them to experience the activity. Letting them taste junk foods, candies and chocolate is not bad, but doing it like a part of their meal is a no no. We should also inform them of what will be the possible implications of having too much of this things.

Healthy eating habits at an early age helps children to develop physically and mentally in their growing years to be aware of what will they eat to stay fit and a good boost to immune system. With this in mind, children will eventually grow with greater possibility of being healthy!

Children would always want to have sweet stuff but we can’t keep handing it to them all the time. They need to eat healthy in order to stay fit.

Yeah, this is a first hand experience so i knew how hard it is to control a toddler to stop eating junkies if they have a taste of it. But yeah, we should really stop those behaviour to not become problem to their health later. Thanks for dropping by!

Great, I love your post, I do agree with you that we should by all means stay away from eating unhealthy foods no matter the cost. Balance diet should be prioritized by all means and at least have fruits as supplements. Thanks for your post here in this community.

Thank you. It's really difficult, specially to us adults, to set a good example to young ones on how to do the right things including a healthy eating habit. If you have a child and you as a parent got a bad habit for eating junkies, you better be the one to adjust for the good so that your child will follow your footstep. You cannot tell your children to always drink water while you as a parent always chugging a soda in front of them. :)
