This is my first post in this precious community. When i came across it i was like wow, so this kind of community exists? This is a good development because it's what most of us need at this season of outlives.
Growing up as a teenager, i have had different perceptions on the issue of physical exercise. The notion created before me was that exercise is for those who want to go to gym or develop their body fit for competition. I never saw exercise as what everyone needs. Haven grown to this extent and with the kind of knowledge i have gathered over time, i have come to draw an inference that exercise is good for everyone either directly or indirectly. In this post i would share practically how exercise helped me and perhaps testimony of a friend as well. In conclusion i would like to share the relevance of exercise to every human being.
My understanding of physical exercise began when i started offering a subject called physical health education where i was exposed to basic principles of how I could maintain my body fit, the environment and human health. It was one of the best subject for me because it captures virtually everything that humans need.
Execise is very important because it is a vital instrument used to have a balanced health. Physical activity has both mental, social and other significance that can't be overemphasized. In a short while i will be sharing some of these benefits. Some of these benefits are;
One of the outstanding benefits of physical activity is that it manages weight. Consistent exercise helps to maintain weight by reducing the risk of being obesed diseases. I know of some one that weighs more than 100kg but after observing this principle he dropped to 80kg.
The heart need to be exercised which would strengthen it and makes it powerful. It improves blood circulation, reduces blood pressure and the risk of any heart disease issue.
Physical activity helps to regulate sugar level of an individual so that one won't become diabetic. Recently my cousin stepped on a nail and couldn't seek for medical attention within the window period of three days hence the pain excruciated. Later it was discovered that he's diabetic and the sugar level was high. He doesn't exercise himself. As i am typing this work, i went on good exercise today and i feel good.
Anytime i observed my exercise, i enjoyed my sleep very well and of course sleep is very important because it helps to relax some nerves and parts of the body.
Physical activity helps to reduce stress, anxiety and also improved mood.
CONCLUSION
I remembered vividly when i was in secondary school, i got engaged into the inter house competition where i represented my house in a marathon race. It was a wonderful experience because i really stretched my body and engaged it very well. I wonder how my body would have been if i didn't engage myself in physical activity to keep my body fit. Exercise doesn't kill rather it improves one's health and longevity.
Thanks for reading through my entry for this prompt.
