Overcoming My Health Challenges .

We have all heard that health is wealth. But in reality, we only realize its importance when our health is in danger. There was a chapter in my life that taught me a lot about health and forced me to change my lifestyle. Today, I want to share that experience with you.

Since childhood, I was quite stubborn about my diet. I used to eat nothing but a few foods and most of them were fast food. Nothing healthy was on my list of choices, due to which I developed problems with my esophagus at a young age.

I used to suffer from chest pain occasionally. Every time I went to the doctor for a check-up, they would dismiss it as a "gas problem". My parents were very worried about this problem. They spent a lot of money on me and used various medicines. But nothing could find a permanent solution to the problem.

In 2023, my family spent a lot of money on my disease but did not get any solution and finally in the end of 2023, my family and I took the final decision that we would go to the doctor in India. Because my family could not afford better treatment. This was our last hope as there was no solution from local medicine. An experienced doctor from India first listened to my problems very carefully. He sat with me and asked me several questions - my daily habits, diet, what kind of food I like to eat and which food aggravates the problem. During this conversation, he got a pretty clear idea about the matter.

The doctor asked me to get about 12 tests done. Although I was a little scared to get so many tests done, my parents encouraged me. After the reports came, the doctor said that I did not have any serious physical problems. He said that there was a little fat accumulation in my liver, which can only be fixed through physical exercise. He advised me to walk for at least an hour every day. This simple but effective advice of his gave me and my family a lot of relief.

Following the doctor's advice, I started walking for an hour every day. At first, it was quite difficult for me to develop the habit of physical exercise. But gradually I made it a part of my daily life. When I had my check-up again after three months, the doctor told me that I was completely healthy. The satisfied smiles I saw on my parents' faces at that time were a priceless achievement for me.

From this experience, I learned that our body is our greatest asset. If we neglect our body, we will have to suffer the consequences. Developing healthy eating habits is very important. Regular physical activity should be a part of our lives. We need to develop the habit of drinking enough water. If the body gives any signal, we should not ignore it and seek medical advice quickly.

An experience like mine can happen to others too. So I would like to give some advice to everyone:
Be conscious about food. Eat less fast food and eat more healthy home-cooked food. Walk or exercise regularly. This not only keeps the body but also the mind fresh. Make a habit of drinking water. Drink at least two to three liters of water every day .Know the correct information about the disease and seek the right doctor's advice. Never be indifferent to your body. If you give importance to any problem at the initial stage, it can be easily resolved. This experience of my life has taught me that we have to take initiative to stay healthy. Health is the key to our life. If we do not take care of our body, then it is impossible to enjoy life.

Those of you who are healthy, consider yourself lucky. And if there is any problem, then try to solve it quickly. Remember, awareness and right habits are the key to keeping us healthy.
