You wouldn't believe that these arevthe same Arsenal fans who were 'winning the league' till the elephant fell out of the tree late in the season. The hesitation to declare league winning expectations more or less confirms that Arsenal had a fluke season.
They would have led you to believe that the thing that made them fall off last season was because they lacked depth. But as soon as they acquire the said depth, suddenly they are helpless. The typical Arsenal sheepish mentality. 😏😏
There's hardly a season where Arsenal fans don't expect the club to win the league. We always want that and yes, Arsenal fans also want to win the league but that's clearly not what I am talking about.
We have addressed depth in the squad and will be competitive but the question is, why is everyone suddenly setting ridiculous standards because Arsenal is spending the same amount with other teams that haven't won the league? Why is it different for Arsenal?
When Ole finished second, your team spent a truck load of money on Sancho and others, how come no one mandated you guys to win the league?
You must have been on another planet. Everybody, including United fans expected to win the league that season, especially when we got Ronaldo. Instead we imploded. That's why Ole got sacked because fans turned and because expectations were really high.
