With the Fantasy Premier League site only providing the fixture list for head to head leagues at the point that GW1 began, we were unable to provide a preview for the first round of matches in our newly formed division 1 and division 2.
However, going forward, the plan is to preview the clashes between Hive users and of course disburse our weekly prizes to those who won their head to head!
GW1 results
A reminder that winners of Division 1 matches will receive 1 HIVE while winners in Division 2 0.5 HIVE. Prizes will be sent to the relevant wallet within the next 12 hours

Division 1 - GW 2 Previews
@blockchainfpl v @b0s
2 sides who opened their accounts with victories in GW1 go head to head. As a brief mention, every single team in the top division started the team with Haaland and 16 sides captained him - I'd be surprised to find him on many differential lists as the season progresses.
Where this tie looks likely to be won is in midfield. BlockchainFPL will be hoping that Richarlison as the last remaining CF at Spurs can open his account for the season against a United side that somehow kept a clean sheet against Wolves in their opening fixture. While for Legion FC, the likes of Saka and Mitoma made promising starts to the new season but now face away days at Palace and Wolves respectively.
@teofilex11 v @vickoly
This should be a fascinating fixture with both teams chasing a first win of the season and as you can see above, a huge number of differentials - in fact, the only player that both teams own is Haaland!
In goal, Augment have strong options compared to Likodra who are stuck with Fulham's Leno unless they choose to remove the now 2nd choice Fabianski from their squad. In defence Augment have gone in heavily on CBs compared to Likodra who have chosen FBs. More often than not it's the later tactic that comes off although with Cash having a nightmare start to the season and Pedro Porro not playing some tweaking may yet be required.
In the more attacking roles, Likodra may be concerned that the likes of Barnes and Ings started on the bench in the opening fixtures, despite the former scoring big points in his cameo appearance. Elsewhere the battle of midfielders playing as centre forwards in Richarlison vs Rashford could go a long way to deciding the tie.
@amirtheawesome1 v @borran
There's going to be very little to choose between these 2 sides. On paper, Konsa and Villa's game at home to Everton looks a good chance to pick up a clean sheet bonus but how much faith to managers have following the Villans opening day mauling at Newcastle?
In midfield, Salah has home advantage against a Bournemouth side that were thumped 9-0 the last time these 2 teams met although the Egyptian forward somehow managed to fail to find the back of the net!Upfront, The Amirians certainly have greater options with both Joao Pedro and Wissa looking like strong early season picks.
@yagman01 v @nonsowrites
Again, not much to choose between 2 teams who finished just 3 points apart in GW1. At the back, there's a slight advantage for Nonz FC in as far as Sergio Gomez being very unlikely to get a look in at City. Upfront, it could well come down to whether Darwin or Ferguson get a starting spot in for this weekend. The Brighton forward came off the bench to great effect in GW1 but the 6.7% of managers who have retained him at the time of writing will be hoping for more appearances from the off!
The problem that Nonz FC could yet face is that Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez are ultimately competing with each other for game time!
@thoth442 v @McKane
2 strong looking sides who again have very little to choose between them.
John Stones' early season knock will have a lot of managers reassessing whether he's worth the risk despite his fine end of season form. The England defender has only passed 2000 mins of EPL playing time once since he joined City and that was way back in 2016/17 during his debut season.
This tie though looks more likely to be decided in a straight shoot out between the 4 midfield/forward differentials. Chukwuemeka certainly looks like a good early season buy for a budget midfielder but can he take his chance at Chelsea or will they move yet again in the transfer market and bump him down to squad player status? It feels like picking any Chelsea players prior to the window closing does come with an element of risk!
@shamzy v @Ipalibo
This tie looks like it might be decided by the defences. While Shamzy FC have on paper the stronger options to choose from, it should be noted that Arsenal, United and Newcastle all have tricky looking away fixtures. Meanwhile Forest looked much improved at the back against Arsenal and host Sheffield United in what might already be termed a '6 pointer' - could Matt Turner be a good shout for a clean sheet bonus?
Meanwhile upfront, Ollie Watkins looks more likely to score even against stubborn Everton defence than Callum Wilson who might well struggle to start the match away at City.
@talesfrmthecrypt v @pappyelblanco
It was a barnstorming start from Creekside FC in GW1 but have they put all their eggs in 1 basket? Spence and Livramento both look unlikely to start in GW2 (Spence may yet be sold before the window closes) while Jensen was forced off during GW1 raising concerns as to whether he'll be fit to start this weekend. The options for the early league leaders are therefore very limited and a smart piece of business as far as transfers certainly needed.
Elsewhere, it's a straight shootout between Jackson and Antonio in the Chelsea v West Ham match and similarly a case of which United midfielder performs best away at Spurs.
@Pvmihalache v @gvkanten
Content Creators have certainly gone big on the keeper positions with premium buys in both slots. That does mean that a couple of their other picks in defence are very much in the budget category. Will that come back to haunt them later on? Are the City and Liverpool stoppers even good value for money?
Otherwise there are plenty of variables in this fixture making it very difficult to call who will come out on top in a tie being contested by teams who both lost their opening fixture.
@belemo v @martinlazizi
Lazz could be facing an early season selection crisis in defence with 3 of their current squad not appearing in GW1 and Mings now out injured long term. His defence in total, offered just 1 point in the opening round of matches!
In midfield too, Inzanagi FC appear to hold the upper hand with the likes of Diaby, Mitoma and Saka showing early season form while upfront it'll be a good battle between the 2 sides differentials in GW2.
Very few differentials in this clash although it remains to be seen who I Feel Qatari will bring in to replace the injured KDB. The issue more generally with the lack of high value players is that short of making multiple transfers and costing yourself points, it probably means the team will have funds sloshing around in the bank. An advantage perhaps in the longer term but certainly an issue for now...

I think I mistook Gross for March. Dunno why I've always mixed both up and thanks to Bruno Fernandes not turning up, was really counting on him in that last game. How I narrowly booted Saliba for Gabriel that returned just one point.
We go again. 💪
Legalizabrasil (my next opponent) should get ready. I'm about to channel my inner Guardiola or should i say fergie 🤣
Be careful that might mean either all your hair falls out or you become an alcoholic Scotsman 😀

.I think @b0s will beat me this week. I considered covering Saka by getting him in for Fernandes but it's too late now so I have to hope that Foden starts and Richarlison makes an effort to move away from his markers.
Hehe, dont sell yourself short. The prem is unpredictable.
He did look a bit lost up there against Brentford but then again they don't give anyone much room to operate with their 5 man defence. Based on Monday's performance, United look a lot more accommodating in that respect
Ha ha, yes. That is definitely a reason to be optimistic. On the flip side, I have Rashford and Bruno... so hopefully it'll be a goal fest!
Great write up, You did justice to the head to head analysis. Hopefully I'll prove you wrong 😜🤞
Does that mean you're subbing out Sergio Gomez? 😀
Sorry for the late reply, I'm sure the result showed that I did the needful. Sergio Gomes was never a concern for me since I have my first 11 sorted out. We go again this week
This game is really fun and am enjoying every part of it.
Glad to hear it mate

.Wow! This is incredible, the analysis, the preview. With this, I hopefully won't miss a deadline.
Good to hear and congrats on GW1, that's a strong looking squad you've got!

My bench is way too weak. Already made a knee jerk sub by trading Gabriel for Saliba. Now, I need to upgrade one of my 4.0 defenders to Ake, who will probably have a prise rise before GW2 deadline. Already in trouble so early in the season.

Sorry mate doesn't look like you joined but there will be the Hive FPL Cup later in the season which you’ll be a part of
Alright
Thank you
Think I was so unlucky to lose! Had 11 points ahead before Sunday and then all 3 of the opponent's players had an assist
I'm gunning for division one
