Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. This season has been great so far in all competitions. In the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich is leading the race for the league title, which means Harry Kane will soon add a trophy to his career, and Harry Kane's curse, as they said, will be over. In the Premier League, Liverpool are leading with 15 points on the league table ahead of Arsenal, who were in the race for the title before the end of last year, but now I don't think they are a contender anymore for the title.
In Spain, it has been a tight title race between FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Atletico Madrid as they are all tight on the league table. FC Barcelona have proven they will become Champions by the end of the season, but they still need to keep their top form as any slip-up again could cause them the league title. It is going to be a crazy end to the season, and I am here for all the excitement that pops up along the way to the end of the season. The big question in every football fan's mouth now is who will win the Champions League and which player will take home the Ballon d'Or award this year.
The two top names on the Ballon d'Or list have been Raphinha and Salah, as both players are doing incredibly well in their respective leagues, but I wouldn't say it is the same in the Champions League because Raphinha has been better by a far margin when comparing the two-player stats in the competition. Raphinha has scored a total of 9 goals in the Champions League this season, while Salah has scored 3 goals in the competition this season. In terms of big game players, Raphinha has been ahead as we can't forget his incredible hat-trick against Bayern Munich and his amazing winning goal against Benfica twice in the competition.
Raphinha has been amazing for Barcelona this season as he already has 41 g/a this season alone and there are about
three months left before the season ends, we might just see Raphinha hit 60 g/a before the season ends. There was a post I saw on X today that Raphinha can't win the Ballon d'Or because he is not popular among the journalists who will be voting for the player they believe deserves the award. The user post just made us laugh because I don't understand when popularity has become part of the criteria to win the Ballon d'Or.
Winning the Champions League could be the deciding factor for both players this season and by the looks of things this week will we find out which team will head to the quarter-final of the competition I hope Barcelona and Liverpool can face each in the final of the Champions League, but that depends on both teams being the best till they reach the final of the competition. Raphinha is the player I see taking home the Ballon d'Or this year. So, guys, that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
