Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. What a night it was in the Copa Del Rey clash between Catalan giant FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. If you miss this match I feel sorry for you because that game showed why we love this sport called football. The match had everything from goals to comeback and insane individual brilliance on the pitch. It would be a lie if I said one team was better than the other, as both teams were equally matched last night. Atletico Madrid came up with their A-game at the FC Barcelona home ground when the match started.

It was barely eight minutes into the match as I was trying to connect my device to watch the match, and boom. As soon as I was able to connect, I saw the scoreline was two goals to nothing, with Atletico Madrid leading Barcelona. It shocked me as I was trying to figure out how Barcelona conceded two goals in the space of eight minutes. If it was a normal day, I would have stopped watching the match, but when I saw Barcelona's relentlessness to get a goal and how Hansi Flick removed his jacket, it made me more interested to stick around till the final minutes of the game.

FC's first chance of the game to score earlier did not go well as Ferran Torres finished that chance poorly, and it just makes us wonder if Ferran Torres ever wants to be a starter in this team. Ferran Torres is good on the bench, which I have seen countless times since he joined the club, but when he starts matches, he finds it hard to finish up his chances in front of goal. Yesterday's match just confirms that Ferran Torres shouldn't be a starter but rather from the bench since that is the only way to get the best out of the Spanish forward.

Pedri yesterday was top-notch, and I will say over and over again that Pedri is way better than Bellingham. Pedri was the one who started Barcelona's comeback, as he scored in the 19th minute of the second half, and apart from Pedri's goal yesterday, the way he controlled the tempo of the match was just incredible to watch. After Pedri's goal, it didn't take three minutes before Barcelona levelled the scoreline, and this time, it was the young defender Pau Cabarsi who scored his first career goal as a first-team player for Barcelona and Barca’s second goal of the night.

Pau Cabarsi needs to be talked about a lot and I will make a post about the youngster soon. FC Barcelona completed their comeback in the first half in the 41st minute as Inigo Martinez scored Barcelona's third goal from a header. It was perfect and everything was going fine, but the second half had a twist towards the end. Barcelona did increase their goal tally to two goals as Lewandoski came on to score the fourth goal and was assisted by Lamine Yamal, who was sensational last night.

It looked over for Atletico Madrid and for a minute I thought there was no way Atletico Madrid would come back into this game but before my eyes on the screen Atletico Madrid levelled the scoreline in the space of 9 minutes and all this happened when Hansi Flick subbed of Pedri as the ball control for Barca midfield disappeared and this is one of the reasons why Pedri is important for Barcelona even without his goals he has a huge impact on that midfield.

The game ended 4-4 and now everything will be at stake in the Metropolitano when Barcelona face Atletico Madrid at their home ground. It is going to be a hell of a match, and I am looking forward to it. So, guys, that will be all for now. So, guys, that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
