Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. FC Barcelona on Wednesday night trashed Real Betis 5-1 at home in the Copa Del Rey competition to move on to the next round of the Copa Del Rey. It was a revenge mission completed for the draw Barcelona played against Real Betis in the league last year and I was kind of surprised that the boys could play this game more importantly Hansi Flick did not use his usual starting lineup as the was few changes made, but still, the teams were able to dominate Real Betis.

FC Barcelona could have scored 7 to 8 goals if not for free goals that were disallowed by the VAR. Now let's talk about Lamine Yamal, who was unstoppable for the full 90 minutes on the pitch. It is no surprise anymore on what to expect from Lamine Yamal on the pitch because when you least expect it Lamine Yamal sparks out magical moments which are always decisive just like how his first goal in the Spanish Super Cup final led to total demolition of Los Blancos last Sunday.

Lamine Yamal is among the best wingers in the world currently and no doubt already a contender for the Ballon d'Or this year, which will be crazy if he wins it at his age. The youngster still has a lot of years in his career and I just hope he goes on to succeed and not have an Ansu Fati case which is already hard to watch seeing that he was not on the bench for Barcelona's last two matches. According to Fabrizio Romano Lamine Yamal should get a new contract soon, and there is no doubt there will be a pay rise for Lamine as Barcelona will not keep their important player happy.

Another Barcelona forward who has been exceptional this season is Raphinha. The Brazilian is currently in the best form of his career, and I am glad he did not leave during the summer when the rumors were spreading about his possible exit. Raphinha has now scored 19 goals and provided 11 assists this season in all competitions and it is still January which means Raphinha could finish with 50G/A before the end of the season which will be huge for the Brazilian this season.

Lewandoski, the goal machine, did not play in the match against Real Betis on Wednesday as he was rested. The Polish striker got a goal and assist against Real Madrid and I just hope that gets him back to his form because he has not been scoring goals lately, but I am sure the best Lewandoski will show up in the remaining half of the season. The players mentioned above are one if not the best-attacking duo in the world right now as their stats combined speak for themselves. These three are unstoppable and I would love to see how they will end the season. So guys that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
