Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. The Laliga title race just got interesting this evening after the result between Getafe vs Atletico Madrid. Atletico Madrid is one behind FC Barcelona, who are still at the top of the table with a match in hand. FC Barcelona was supposed to play last night against Osasuna, but the match got postponed after one of the medical first team staff sadly past away in his hostel room in the afternoon. It has been a sad period for everyone at the club as he was dear to all the players.

It is just shocking how life is as within a moment, everything could change. The first team Doctor Late Carles Minarro Garcia was spotted that same afternoon with the players before his passing which just makes the whole thing shocking because there was no report about him being sick that day and I doubt the course of his death will be shared to the general public if an autopsy test is conducted as the family will want to remain private at this times. It is a sad period for his family, and I hope they have the strength to pass through this period.

Back to the title race in Laliga as the result of the fixtures this evening. Atletico suffered a blow as one of their important players, Rodrigo De Paul, picked up an injury in the match this evening, and this is a bad time to lose your important player as a manager with the games coming ahead in the coming days. Atletico Madrid has Real Madrid and Barcelona to face in the coming days, and I would say the probability of them winning those two matches is below 40 per cent, to be honest.

Atletico Madrid has dropped to third place in the league table and is behind Real Madrid by just a point. Real Madrid won their match today and are level on points with Barcelona who still have a game in hand. FC Barcelona will have the time to rest for their match this Tuesday against Benfica at home and I don't see any point for the Catalan side not to win with a landslide, but still to make it clear this postponement of the match was out of result for Carles which Osasuna agreed with because I am already seeing agenda on X by some opposition fanbase about how does the death of Late Carles affect the match.

It is funny how most people have forgotten that the motto of the club is Més que un club, which means more than just a club. Honouring Carles by postponing the match was the best option to give the doctor respect. The match should be fixed on a suitable date, which will dropped soon. It's going to be one incredible run to the end of Laliga this season, and I am ready for all the excitement that comes with it. So, guys, that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
