Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. There has been some interesting development over the course of today within Laliga Santander as Real Madrid went public with a memo posted on their official account challenging the referee's decision against them when they faced Espanyol over the weekend. The Galacticos made videos and put them in and then live on Real Madrid TV questioning the referee's decision throughout the match and will get the RFEF involved so there can be an investigation concerning the referee problems in the league.
Firstly this issue of refereeing errors has an issue which has been brought up by Barcelona club and even the club's officials but each time Barcelona or any other club's Laliga issues about this issue Real Madrid's fansbase and the club in general, feel less concerned because it favours them all the time but any little refereeing mistake that doesn't favour the Galacticos they begin to play the victim and complain to the RFEF. It got a lot interesting today when Laliga President Javier Tebas responded to the Real Madrid open complaint on his X account.
This is what Javier Tebas concerning Real Madrid complained: “I was not at all surprised by Real Madrid's letter, as it does not say anything different from what their television channel has been repeating for some time. Many of us advocate a radical change in the arbitration system, moving closer to the English or German model, with a completely different organisation and much more transparency in all the structural decisions of Spanish arbitration. What is truly striking is that, at a LaLiga meeting on April 19, 2023, we debated and even voted on this change, and Real Madrid opposed it, appearing lukewarm and without proposing solutions. Could it have something to do with the fact that, at that time, Rubiales was the president of the RFEF, and Florentino Pérez was a member of the RFEF Board of Directors And mind you, the "Negreira" case was already in court, and Real Madrid took weeks to appear. Why? By the way, when it comes to "corrupt systems," there are few lessons to be learned. And I am not referring to Real Madrid as an institution”.Source
It is clearly stated that now the RFEF knows about the refereeing errors happening and wants to upgrade the referee in the g system to that of the Premier League. It can be taken as a voluble take by the clubs to ki,ck start the upgrade, but Real Madrid at that time cared less. Pulse the proposal, and they opposed the plan, but today, they want to make a fuss about the whole situation. When Barcelona was getting robbed week in and week out, no Spanish club said anything as they chose to be mute about the problem.
The Galacticos have benefited from refereeing errors, which they know they can't deny in the past years. I am interested in seeing how this issue ends and what is installed for Spanish football because, honestly, there needs to be an upgrade. So, guys, that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by, and have a good day.
