Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. In the past two days, there has been some news on a potential exit for Ronald Araujo this January window, and one of the clubs that are pushing to sign Araujo this January is Serie A giant Juventus. Ronald Araujo has been absent from football activities since the Copa America competition when he picked up an injury and he had to undergo surgery, then proceed to recovery training before being medically cleared towards the end of December.

Ronald Araujo played his first match coming back from injury in the Copa Del Rey competition against Barbastro last week and did well in the match, but he did not play in the Spanish Super Cup clash against Athletic Club which I thought he should have in the fixture or at least giving some minutes in that match. There is no doubt that the defensive partnership between Inigo Martinez and Pau Cubarsi has been brilliant so far this season and looks to be Hansi Flick's preferred defense lineup in important matches since he took charge as manager.

There are several speculations dropping that Araujo feels overwhelmed with the rise of Cubarsi and feels he doesn't have a place in the team anymore and that is why he is thinking of leaving the club this January. In my opinion, if this is true, then I don't expect this kind of mentality from Araujo because he just got back from injury, and plus, no one is special as everyone on the squad has to prove to Hansi Flick with their performance why they should be making the starting lineup list.

Today, I saw a clip of Ronald Araujo being interviewed and asked a couple of questions, and his answers were planned. Araujo said he doesn't care what anyone says as he is the captain of FC Barcelona which is more important to the player. Ronald Araujo is a top defender that is for sure and honestly, I wouldn't like to see him leave the club just yet because there are still a lot of things I think he can achieve with the club as the captain, but I would still say it is not ruled out that he will leave this club this January because anything is possible as long as the transfer window is active.

Juventus are still pushing, according to Fabrizio Romano, to make the deal happen, but Barcelona said they will only listen to Juventus if Ronald Araujo wants them to, which is decent from the club as they still want Araujo at the club. The January transfer window is going to be a long ride, and I am looking forward to seeing how this Araujo transfer speculation ends. Hopefully, he stays at the club and signs a new contract.
So, guys, that will be all for now, but if there is a new development on the Araujo transfer speculation, I will drop a post. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
