General Motors (NYSE:GM) Co's self-driving unit Cruise said its test vehicles encountered a quick pace of progress in the second 50% of 2019, empowering it to edge past Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOGL) Inc's Waymo in information answered to California's Department of Motor Vehicles.
