Finished up this nifty little clock today.
This started as a piece of wood that had a crack down the middle. It wasn't completely broken in two, but I could tell that it wasn't good enough to trust it would stay together over a long period if I had tried to make something with it intact.
So, I broke it in two and @inkpixie filled the center with some epoxy.
I cut the circle out for her, cut the center hole, cut a recess in the back for the clock hardware, and v-carved the numbers with some oramask over it to easily apply the white paint in the letters.
A few clear coats to seal it and it's ready to go. Broken board to a vibrant wall clock.
