What is your favourite quote or phrase?
There are certain quotes or phrases that whenever you remember them in your moment of happiness or sober it either tickles you, encourages you or simply comforts. There are numerous instances like that. For me this one stands out and which is "the 'beautyful' ones are not yet born"!!!Whose quote is it?
This comforting as well as encouraging quote was made by a Ghanaian author and write Ayi Kwei Armah.Why do I like it?
I like the quote so much because it reminds us all about one thing which is, there is no end to good things in life. Thus, we have not in essence seen the best things of life because with each passing day, new things which are superior and better than their earlier versions emerge.How does it make you feel?
This comforting quote makes me to see everything in this life as not the best life can offer. Life is replete with good things which can never be exhausted. It makes me feel sometimes nostalgic about life generally.What does that make you think or believe?
This quote makes me thing that one should not kill himself over the acquisition of present material things in life because whatever you toil and strive to acquire, the best if that thing Is yet tod come thereby making it rubbing to be stealing and doing any other shoddy practices to make us.
In all we should not kill ourselves in the acquisition of material wealth because those so called beautiful ones of the present things we see today cannot be compared to the future more beautiful versions of the former ones.
Your quote is quite interesting. I had not thought of it that way but it has a valid point, there will always be different things that we like in the future and it is up to us to decide if we want to live always pursuing that and letting that dominate us, or on the contrary, accept that there will always be that desire for more and live our lives in a more peaceful way without that dominating us.
