Money Amplifies Our True Nature

Hello everyone
Welcome to my blog

I've given a lot of thought to the saying, money changes people. Perhaps, it is not money per se. But what it carries on its wings, which is power, access and knowledge. Money does not change people, it only amplifies what’s already there, unmasks them, only reveals who they truly are, and so exposes their true selves.

Though it is said that money is the root of all evil, also based on my understanding, I would say that evil has its root, which begins with our thoughts before actual action takes place. Oftentimes, people go extra mile just to get money, and surprisingly most of them don't stay alive to enjoy what they have risked their lives for. So I believe that there is no crazy thing I would do because of money, I see it as a visitor that comes and goes, and not a permanent thing that comes to stay, and to keep the money flowing its done through knowledge, hard work, investment e.t.c.
Amazingly, people can have wealth yet remain humble, money tends not to change them, because many of them have the understanding that it's temporary, so why should pride be set in because of it.

Money is one thing that gives those who have it the illusion of being special. It makes them feel safe and in control. It also feeds their egos. But it's important that we know, even those born to wealth eventually have their struggles because it's often said even the rich also cry.

We ought to understand the change we are referring to in this context, because
change, generally speaking, is not only about our physical activity, it also involves our thoughts, values, intentions and our perceptions. I would say, it is these non-physical qualities that define our physical actions. In this context the fundamental problem as far as money is concerned tends to change an individual's well being.

I would say that money brings about change both physically and non-physically, it's easy to see that the arrival of money could make one change their taste of everything, (fashion, food, accommodation, e.t.c) no matter how little or the word we used to qualify that, money amplified their taste, and unmasked their pride.

As much as lack of money changes people, then it follows from simple logic that having money definitely changes people. People can change the rules they live by, but money changes these people to do so.

But in all, let our net-worth change while our values remain constant, though having money we will be tempted to swap our old friends for new ones and that is our prerogative. Furthermore, those who represent core values like loyalty and honesty should be allowed to stay.
Make time for the people that had our back even when the financial blessings were yet to come and stay true for each other when the blessings come. Grow with them and know that money is not everything. A cordial relationship that can serve you tomorrow should be protected and valued.

Money is good, but it shouldn't give a negative change and perspective about us, rather let's use it to build a legacy that will speak positively about us when it's not there anymore, and when we are no longer here to enjoy it.
