    According to IMDB yes, both shows had Zack Morris as the same character/actor and Good Morning, Miss Bliss came first.

    Oh, no! See what you made me do? I just saw on IMDB starting this year a Saved by the Bell reboot has the character Zack Morris as governor of California in the series. How did that happen?

      A follow-up series to the 1990s sitcom. A group of California low-income high school students are transferred to Pacific Palisades' wealthy Bayside High, following a program by California Governor Zack Morris.

      From Wikipedia:

        It hasn't yet. It's supposed to be sometime this year on NBC's streaming service.

        Oh, they're also rebooting Punky Brewster. We have some '80s also.
