On my trip through the capital of my country, Buenos Aires, Argentina, I was able to visit some of the most significant and historical places in Argentina.
Buenos Aires has a red hot energy that you can't ignore. The city will wine and dine you with excellent Malbec and incredibly good meat, and keep you up until dawn in clubs and dance halls.
But there is also a quieter side that is worth knowing. Stroll the neighborhoods' cobblestone streets in the morning to see the neoclassical architecture at your own pace. Sure, Palermo has trendy restaurants and boutiques, but it's also a beautiful experience to buy a choripán and have a picnic in the Palermo Forests.
Head to San Telmo to visit the Feria de San Telmo, a huge street fair that is open every Sunday, and to enjoy tango (you can go see a show or take advantage of an outdoor performance in Plaza Dorrego).
If you're looking for something more relaxed, check out a museum or art gallery and then head to a food stall at Mercado de San Telmo. Go fast or take it slow – the choice is yours. Next, we have more ideas.
