Yesterday's work is not finished yet

in CCH14 days ago

Yesterday we started work from early morning. The sun was fierce, the head was sweating continuously due to the heat of the sun. Still we all decided together, today's work must be finished today. But work is not like work - one problem after another started to appear.

The first problem is with the materials. The cement sacks did not arrive on time, resulting in a halt in the mixing process. Later when the cement arrived, it was found that there was also a problem with the water line.It took a lot of time to do all this.

After that the work started, but while pouring concrete at one place it was found that the right size formwork was not seated properly. As a result, the whole thing had to be opened and put again. The time was wasted and the morale of the workers also decreased. Everyone was tired, the temperature was around 35 degrees. But still no one gave up. Everyone was trying to advance the work in their own way.

After a little rest in the afternoon, I went back to work. Some work went well, but again one of the machines broke down. Then the technician had to be called to fix it, which took more time. By that time it was afternoon and evening. The light was getting low, safety had to be kept in mind. So I had to stop working.

Now from this morning I went to the field again to finish the unfinished work. Although yesterday's fatigue still lingers in the body, today's goal is the same—to finish the rest of yesterday's work. Everyone started working with renewed enthusiasm. Some are working on slab casting, some are laying bricks, some are fixing materials.

Now we have very little time. The project work should be completed within the specified time. So if one day's work is left, the entire schedule is affected. That's why everyone is trying together so that there is no work left today.

This experience has taught us that construction is not just about labor, but also about patience, planning and compassion. Only by working side by side will the unfinished work be completed.
