Some people we may know but as an individual but we don't know their inner person. Others may seem nice but they're not that kind of person as they projected themselves to the public. It might mean they are protecting their reputation, and it is what they only care about.
Other people may seem un-nice base on our observations. It can be our first impression towards the person. However, knowing them more by joining them. Having a good conversation with them, you will know more about the person.
